Makeup by Robin Siegel for Kiehl’s – Felicity Huffman 74th Golden Globes

Felicity Huffman, Nominee: Best Performance by an Actress in a Limited Series or Motion Picture

INSPIRATION:

“I was very inspired by her dress. It’s a one-piece jumpsuit that’s white on the bottom with a gold
and silver halter top. Since her dress had sparkle, I kept her make up pretty matte, focusing on
her skin, letting her natural glow show through. I kept the color on her eyes neutral, with nudes,
coppery browns, and lashes. She has such gorgeous eyes! Then we finished with a soft, pale,
nude lip.”

SKINCARE:

Kiehl’s Pure Vitality Skin Renewing Cream
Kiehl’s Daily Reviving Concentrate
Kiehl’s Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado
Kiehl’s Butterstick Lip Treatment SPF 25
We began with Kiehl’s Butterstick Lip Treatment SPF 25. I always start with lip balm to
prepare the lips. Then, I used a few drops of Kiehl’s Daily Reviving Concentrate all over her
face and down on her neck, and then moisturized her skin and neck with Kiehl’s Pure Vitality
Skin Renewing Cream. I dotted Kiehl’s Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado under the
eyes, and topped that with eye pads, for a last minute treatment that also helps clean up any stray
eye makeup.

EYES:

Charlotte Tilbury Luxury Eyeshadow Palette in The Sophisticate
Chanel Longwear Intense Cream Eyeliner in Hyperblack
For her eyes, I used the Charlotte Tilbury Luxury Eyeshadow Palette in The Sophisticate.
It’s a neutral palette, with lots of beiges and browns. I used the beige all over the lid, and then
layered the light and medium browns in the outer corners and up into the crease. I built the color,
so it’s graduated, and then blended it really well. I used Chanel Longwear Intense Cream

Eyeliner in Hyperblack, right at the lash line, and brought it out with a little flick. I finished
with strip lashes. I like her eyes to stand out!
Finally, I removed the under eye pads and cleaned up the area, and used a little more Kiehl’s
Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado to keep her eyes smooth and fresh.

COMPLEXION (AND MORE EYES!)

Kiehl’s Micro-Blur Skin Perfector
Cle de Peau Concealer in Beige
Tom Ford Waterproof Foundation in Tawny
Elizabeth Arden Ceramide Cream Blush in Honey
Tom Ford Shade and Illuminate
Tom Ford Translucent Finishing Powder
La Prairie Cellular Treatment Powder Blush in Zinnia
Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in Taupe
Elizabeth Arden Grand Entrance Mascara in Black
To smooth Felicity’s complexion and get it ready for makeup, I used Kiehl’s Micro-Blur Skin
Perfector all over her face, focusing on the center.
I then applied Cle De Peau Concealer in Beige where needed, and then Tom Ford Waterproof
Foundation in Tawny with a brush, blending it with a Beauty Blender.
I applied Elizabeth Arden Ceramide Cream Blush in Honey right on the apples of her cheeks,
blending it up and out, and used a very tiny bit of the highlighter in Tom Ford Shade and
Illuminate, right on top of her cheekbones. Blend, blend, blend, then I pressed Tom Ford
Translucent Finishing Powder all over her face, concentrating on the t-zone.
I finished her complexion by dusting La Prairie Cellular Treatment Powder Blush in Zinnia,
lightly over the cream color.
After her complexion, I went back to finish her eyes. I used Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz
in Taupe to fill in and shape her eyebrows, extending them a tiny bit. She has such nice
eyebrows! Coats of Elizabeth Arden Grand Entrance Mascara in Black finished her eyes.

LIP:

Cle de Peau Lipliner Pencil in #204
Tom Ford Lips and Boys Lipstick in Austin and Sweet Mystery
Chantecaille Lip Gloss

To create Felicity’s nude lip, I lined her lips with Cle de Peau Lipliner Pencil in #204, and
filled them in with Tom Ford Lips and Boys Lipstick in Austin topped with Tom Fords Lip
Color in Sweet Mystery. Finally, I finished the look with sheer gloss from Chantecaille.
